We started as a tiny market stall in Paddy’s Markets in Sydney back in the 1980’s, focusing on supplying quality home appliances with the aim of helping people improve their lifestyle at home. Since then, we have shifted our focus to our love of culture, history and food.
Our family comes from a South-East Asian background where street food and wok cooking pretty much dominated daily life. As soon as you leave home in the morning, you would be greeted by bustling noises and a hit of aromatic spices, noodle soups, fresh fruit, juices, stir-fried noodles, pancakes, pan-fried dumplings – pretty much anything you can think of. Coming home after school or work, you’re greeted with delicious scents of stir fried noodles, vegetables, fried rice, seafood, deep-fried desserts, pan-fried sweets.
