Our goods come with guarantees covered under the Australian Consumer Law which provides that you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a manufacturer’s fault. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods are not of acceptable quality and the fault does not amount to a major fault.
This warranty policy is in addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law and does not exclude, restrict or modify your rights thereunder.
Nationwide Electrical (“NE”) warrants that its products, under normal use and in accordance with the relevant product’s specifications and instructions, will be free from defects in materials and assembly for a period of up to 12 months from the original date of purchase.
Failure to use NE products in accordance with its specifications and instructions will void this Warranty Policy.
This warranty policy does not apply to any defects to NE products as a result of fair wear and tear, misuse of product, abuse, negligence or lack of care, unauthorised service or modifications, improper installation or damage caused by accident.
At its discretion, NE will repair or replace any defective product without charge to the owner within the warranty period. This is your sole and only remedy from NE under this warranty policy. Though there may be other remedies available at law. No third party is authorised to assume liability on behalf of NE or impose any obligations or responsibilities on NE.
To the extent permitted by law, NE’s total liability to you as the consumer in connection with any of our product is limited to an amount equal to the purchase price of the relevant NE product. NE is not to be held liable for any indirect, special reliance, consequential or incidental damages, or any loss of profit, savings, revenue, business or goodwill sustained or incurred in connection with the product.
